Cori Anika Bush is an American politician, nurse, pastor, and Black Lives Activist. She served as US representative for Missouri’s 1st Congressional District (St. Louis City) and north
St. Louis County from 2021-2025. She was one of the original members of the group known as “The Squad.” Cori was one of the first representatives to call for a Ceasefire after October
7, 2023, and has been an ardent supporter of justice and political and human rights for Palestinians. Pro-Israel lobbying groups spent large amounts of money to defeat her in the 2024
elections.
