Answer: Join Abigail Creigh, RD - Health & Human Science Educator for Purdue Extension at our FREE Dining with Diabetes program! 

Dining with Diabetes consists of four sessions and a 3-month reunion. Adults with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes are invited to participate, along with family members and caregivers of a diabetic (or if you’d just like to join Abigail in a food & nutrition class ?).

The series topics include (& yes! Food will be served!):
Week 1 – What is Diabetes? / Let’s Make some Snacks & Appetizers!
Week 2 – Let’s talk Carbs & Sweeteners / Who Wants to EAT Desserts?!
Week 3 – What about Fats & Sodium / PROtein Main Dishes for Dinner
Week 4 – Now, put it all together! / Some Yummy Side Dishes to Try!


WHEN: Tuesdays in JUNE from 6:30-8:00 PM EST - June 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2026 – this series is a progression, therefore attendance to each session is encouraged.

LOCATION: Ascension Lutheran Church and School, 8811 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835

COST: This program is FREE to attend! The program is supported by IDOH with funding from CDC.
