Join fellow members of AIA Fort Wayne for a lunch and learn CE presentation by AIA Indiana Chapter GOLD Level sponsor Signworks - ADA Signage and the Architect.
This course equips designers to implement ADA signage requirements that promote health, safety, and welfare in the built environment. Topics include material selection, tactile sign components, and strategic placement to enhance wayfinding, support emergency response, and ensure accessible navigation for all building users.
This course will examine ADA contrast requirements, symbol usage, and methods for transforming a basic ADA sign into a branded multilayered product while maintaining compliance. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify key ADA design requirements, apply effective contrast and symbol standards, and utilize practical strategies to incorporate ADA-compliant signage into future projects.
