Speaker: Brenda Stokes

Brenda Stokes, a former graduate of the University of West Florida, has worked with clay for over 50 years. Brenda and her husband Marty founded Holley Hill Pottery in 1980 and currently operate the pottery with son Jason in the community of Holley located in South Santa Rosa County.

Brenda and her family helped fund the Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary in 1995 and the Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society in 2001 with support from the local community and public officials.
The nearshore Marine Sanctuary is a snorkeling reef accessible from the beach and supports juvenile habitat, diverse marine life and endless educational and economic opportunities.

The Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society founded 2001, is dedicated to the study and preservation of wood firing traditions in the ceramic arts. The society exists to commemorate, preserve, educate and share our 30 thousand years of ceramic history.

Luncheon will be by reservation only (online registration is preferred- see below!) and must be paid in advance, as a selection of box lunches will be offered.

Registration deadline is Monday, October 26th. When registering, please indicate your choice of sandwich.

Turkey & Swiss Cheese
Roast Beef & Swiss Cheese
Veggie
All sandwiches served with pickle and chips on the side, water or iced tea, and two cookies.

Cost of the luncheon is $15 per person.
