Calendar of events for November 28, 2025:


Camping Science from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Experience the great outdoors from our museum classroom! Get ready to make some bear-y fun noises, build a constellation and let your creativity shine with pipe cleaners and beads, take place in our S'more's Tower Challenge to see who can build the S'more impressive tower, and dive into the world of shadow stories!

**Please note, these are not drop off workshops, but activities for the whole family to enjoy together.


sciPad fall games from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Come one, come all! sciPad will be open for all to drop in an enjoy.


Planetarium Shows at 11:30 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m.
Prepare for blast off and join us for a space adventure! Tickets for these shows can be purchased at our front desk during your visit. 

11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. show: Mayan Observers of the Universe
This special planetarium show mixes science and mythology, taking you on a poetic journey to explore how the Maya understood the Universe. The colorful visuals and sounds create an artistic view of the Universe that is unforgettable. The show features stunning 360° visuals that make you feel like you are inside a beautiful painting, transporting you on a tour of several important Maya temples and highlights the significance of how these temples are oriented in relation to the stars and the Universe.


2:00-2:30 p.m. Show: Mysteries of Your Brain
Jump into an animated adventure following a girl and her crow companion as they explore what makes the human brain so special. Together you’ll zoom along the paths of neurons, find out how human and animal brains differ, and experience illusions on a grand scale!  Along the way, you’ll learn how your brain makes you, well, you, and see that ultimately, we each have the to power to change our brains.
