We’re starting off our 2026 camping season at the beautiful Fort Valley Ranch Campground, located in the Shenandoah Valley—and yes, they offer horseback riding too! 🐎

The VA Voyagers block is now open!
We have 15 spots available—reserve by January 24, 2026, to secure your place. You must put down a one night deposit when booking your reservation.
Cancellation Policy Please Read:
Before booking your stay, please review Fort Valley Ranch’s cancellation policy:
$45 cancellation fee per site or cabin applies to all reservations.
30+ days before arrival: Deposit refunded minus the $45 fee.
Within 30 days of arrival: Full deposit is forfeited.
Policy applies for any reason.
Guests are responsible for all reserved dates, even if leaving early.

A credit card is required to hold your reservation. Payment can be made via cash, credit card, or check at check-in.
💡Note: The campground may adjust site assignments based on rig size to ensure the best fit.

RV & Camping Sites: $40–$45/night (includes 4 people)
Additional guests: $5 per person/night
Primitive Tent Sites: $30/night

🏡 Cabins
Three cozy cabins available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Deposit required in order to grab a cabin for our campout.
Non-refundable pet fee: $50 for 1 pet / $75 for 2 pets

No breed restrictions, but they must be leashed and picked up after at all times.

Directions for guests with campers:
From Virginia Beach take I-64 West to highway 81 North, then take exit 279, follow signs for 675 east, then turn left on 11, turn right on 675 east to go through Edinburgh Gap Road and at Kings Crossing, turn right and then take an IMMEDIATE right onto South Fort Valley Road (at the fork). Continue about 1.5 miles to driveway on right.
If coming from the north on I-81, take exit 279, follow signs for 675 east, then turn left. Turn left on 11 (it may not be marked.. but it is the next intersection "T", then turn right on 675 east to go through Edinburgh Gap Road and at Kings Crossing, turn right and then take an IMMEDIATE right onto South Fort Valley Road (at the fork). Continue about 1.5 miles to driveway on right.
