- **Event Name**: Museum talks: Pollinators and iNaturalist
- **Event Start and End Date**: Mon, 22 Jun, 2026 at 07:00 pm
- **Event Description**: June 22-28 is Pollinator Week! Join Ayla for a talk about the importance of these keystone species that move pollen grains and support the next generation of plants.

Birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small mammals that pollinate plants are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food. They also sustain our ecosystems and produce our natural resources by helping plants reproduce.

Pollinator Week is a time to raise awareness for pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to protect them. Learn more at pollinator.org.

Stick around as we will also get a short talk and demo from Nick on how to use iNaturalist and the importance of citizen science!
