- **Event Description**: Attention blues musicians! 
Solo/duo acts and bands from within a 200 mile radius of Ft. Smith are invited to participate in our annual Blues Challenge on September 20th to select the most worthy act from each category to represent our area in the 2027 International Blues Challenge in Memphis next January. 
We will accept up to four entries in both "Band" and "Solo/Duo" categories for our Challenge. The winning Band will receive $800 and Solo/Duo will receive $400 to help cover travel costs to Memphis, to play on world-famous Beale Street with blues artists from around the world!
If time permits, we will also have our monthly Blues Jam after the Challenge, so musicians - come prepared. 
Again this year, admission will be free.
