The event commemorates the moment in 1958 when Elvis Presley received his G.I. haircut at Fort Chaffee upon entering the U.S. Army—a moment often referred to as “the haircut heard ’round the world.” Visitors will have the unique opportunity to get a haircut in the very place where that historic event occurred.

All proceeds benefit the Chaffee Barbershop & Military Museum, helping preserve and share Fort Chaffee’s rich military and cultural history.
