Tololwa Mollel, an acclaimed writer, storyteller, and playwright, will adapt traditional African tales into dramatic scripts, which he and Obianuju Mollel, a gifted story voice artist, will perform with the audience, not just for them.
Rooted in the participatory storytelling traditions Tololwa grew up with in Tanzania, East Africa, this performance transforms the audience from passive listeners into active contributors. Attendees will be invited to join in through singalongs, voicing dialogue for characters, and using simple props provided by the performers, creating a joyful, inclusive, and memorable shared experience across generations.
