- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 02 Oct, 2026 at 09:00 am – Sun, 04 Oct, 2026 at 04:00 pm (-06:00)
- **Event Description**: Working Equitation is a versatile discipline open to riders of all levels, all breeds (including mules and donkeys), and all riding styles. Whether you are discovering Working Equitation for the first time or building on existing skills, this clinic is designed to help you progress while keeping your horse relaxed, confident, and willing.
In this clinic, you won’t just learn how to ride the movements and obstacles—you’ll gain the understanding and tools needed to keep your horse happy, safe, and responsive as you develop in the sport.

Friday:
Warm Up for Emotional Fitness on the ground and in the saddle.
Students will learn the Working Equitation dressage test for their level, with an emphasis on riding seat-first and reins-second. Instruction will focus on developing correct bends, improving transitions, and creating clear, balanced communication with your horse.

Saturday:
The focus shifts to the Ease of Handling phase, which features obstacles designed to test and refine your riding skills and your horse's emotional fitness. Introductory riders will navigate obstacle patterns at the walk and trot, while Novice riders may include the canter. Students will learn proper execution of each obstacle, practice them individually, and then combine several into short sequences. Instruction will also emphasize reducing tension and promoting relaxation and confidence in your horse.

Sunday:
We will build on the previous day’s work by advancing our skills and riding a complete Ease of Handling test.
