Women’s Intentional Gathering at Fort Rock

Welcome to the Women’s Intentional Gathering at Fort Rock!

Soma has put together the Fort Rock Women’s Intentional Gathering for a unique opportunity to seek respite amongst community, to tap into the wild power of our inner instinctual nature, and to absorb the magical energy of the Oregon Outback and transmute it through the alchemy of our gathering.

Through inspired readings and guided journaling, we will break through the layers of disconnection that the routines of modern society lull us into. By cooking locally sourced meals over open flame, we will reconnect with fire and food in a way that reminds us of our life source.

In the shadow of Fort Rock’s mighty ring, we will send comforting regulation throughout our nervous systems with a healing sound bath. Through song circles and story telling we will remember the ancestral traditions our souls yearn to experience in community. Through yoga, breathwork and embodiment practices— we will still the overactive mind and anchor this knowledge in our bodies.

This event is about remembering, connecting and sharing. It is meant to be accessible, hence our tiered pricing and volunteer opportunities. Its hope is to present a path back to your truest self by turning inward and listening to your own deepest wisdom— rather than seeking a “new” or “improved” version of your self externally. Our greatest source of guidance lies within.

Host, Chef and Yoga Instructor:

Soma Wellness offers yoga, retreat and personal chef services based in Central Oregon. A self-started, female– owned company-- Samantha Freda is its Founder, Lead Yoga Facilitator and Head Chef.

It began when Samantha opened a tiny cafe & bistro across the street from her favorite yoga studio, where community between the two spaces immediately began to build. Years later Samantha expanded her offerings to private chef work and pop up events, always staying close to yoga and its teachings.

In 2022 she started hosting retreats, and immediately knew she had found a gift she was destined to continue offering. Samantha has since facilitated yoga and wellness retreats from Puerto Rico to the Pacific Northwest, and been the Chef on countless others. Samantha loves how this work combines all of her strengths, and she is so grateful to experience the connection and expansion that these types of containers create.

It has been a blessed journey, full of lessons and growth, and the type of alignment that eventually landed Samantha and Soma Wellness in Bend, Oregon-- where both have been thriving ever since!

Second Chef:

Our second chef will be Rose of Copper Tree Homestead, an off grid farm with a focus on sustainability and skill sharing. She will offer us a special treat - outdoor cooking. https://coppertreehs.com

Sound Healer:

Lauren is a clairsentient sound healer, energy worker, yoga teacher and meditation guide who has worked in healing arts since 2013. With roots in classical music and deep reverence for nature, her offerings weave sacred sound, movement, breath, Reiki, and ancient wisdom into vibrational journeys that awaken the soul. With dedication to continuous training through diverse lineages, and staying immersed in spiritual practice, she channels energy through sensation, sound, and healing instruments. Based in the wild beauty of Bend, Oregon, she lives in devotion to her family, the earth, and the magic of collective healing.
