Please join our Festival Choir as we workshop through a number or water themed music. 

Festival Clinician: Dr. Bryan Ijames
Assistant Professor of Music, Bower School of Music
Florida Gulf Coast University

Festival choir will rehearse on Friday evening, Saturday (2 workshops) and then perform during the Saturday evening concert at 7:00 PM.  The concert on the 7th will include performances by FGCU’s Bel Canto, Cantible and University choirs, Choral Artistry and the Festival Choir. There will be an additional per-concert lecture conducted by faculty and students from the FGCU Water School discussing water issues in our area.

Emerald Stream - Seth Houston
Wade in the Water - arr. Alec Schumacker
To Be Sung on the Water Opus 42, No. 2 - Samuel Barber
Give me your stars to hold - Richard Waters
Take Me to the Water - Rollo Dilworth

In person check-in begins Friday the 6th at 6:30 PM

Music will be provided to all singers prior to the workshop. We will have both digital and hard copies.

All singers (15+ years) are welcome to join the SingOut! SWFL Music Festival chorus.
