Homeschool: Dendrology-The Study of Trees! (AGES 13-16)

Tree Anatomy & Physiology
Do trees ever stop growing? Do all trees lose their leaves in cooler weather? How many tree species are there in FL? Through a series of activities students will learn about the parts of a tree and their functions, how a tree grows, and the different types of trees we have. We will take a Tree Id hike on our Pine Loop trail to learn how to identify the most common trees of SWFL.
