About the event

Billy's Creek Preserve and Filter Marsh Birding Field Trip
Celebrate Earth Day by seeing a filter marsh in action, as it cleans water headed for the Caloosahatchee. A mix of shade, sun, and habitats make for pleasant birding along accessible paved paths. Possible species include Woodstork, Osprey, Downy & Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Little Blue, Green, and Great White Herons, White Ibis, Limpkin, various warblers, American Coots, and more. Led by Dan VanNorman and Gerri Reaves.
