Please join us for this amazing evening of rest and cultivating deep peace while supporting an amazing Local Organization. 

Yoga Nidra is for calming the mind,if you can lay down you can do yoga Nidra. Karrie will guide us into a deep relaxation and stillness in a safe and comfortable setting.

Are you asking yourself what is Yoga Nidra, can I even do, or is this for me? 

Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice of conscious relaxation where the body goes to sleep. Your mind will be alert and awake doing all the “work” while, your physical body melts into your mat for a bit of deep relaxation. Once your body is relaxed, you mind finds a space of quiet calm, some even refer to it as blissful. In that quiet space dreams open up, possibilities are endless, problems can be solved or you can simply enjoy it. 

The beauty of Yoga Nidra is there is no right or wrong way to do it. Every session is different and every one experiences it differently. It’s an adaptogenic practice, in that your body and mind take what it needs from the practice. 

Yoga Nidra can be a healing practice for both the mind and body. Some have used it to improve physical healing and others to address their mental health wellness. I personally and with individual clients have used it to manage then eradicate the symptoms of PTSD. Walter Reed National Military Medical Center uses the practice to help soldiers coming home from war. Its use is endless and benefits are abundant. 

The best part, there is nothing you have to do. You just lay down or sit if you prefer and listen to Karrie voice as you are guided through the practice. 

During the class we will go through 2 or 3 Yoga Nidras depending on time and individual needs of the participants.  

If you’ve never experienced Yoga Nidra treat yourself to the class and you will thank yourself for the gift of deep relaxation✨


Please bring anything you need to be comfortable: Yoga mat, cushion, pillow, and yoga mat, there are extra for you to use, too.

✨No donation to big or small,we are grateful for it all. There's no expectations on donation. Please donate from your heart what you can ? All the proceeds go to the Local Kiwanis
