All Around Town

Join us for a fun and interactive monthly adventure around our town! In this program, elementary-aged kids will discover the people, places, and careers that help our community shine. Each session highlights a different local job or landmark, giving kids a chance to learn what happens behind the scenes, ask questions, and spark big dreams for their future.

𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦
Kick off our All Around Town series by meeting Nora, the amazing Museum Curator who helps bring Fort Lupton’s history to life! 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲. Kids will learn, step by step, how real museums accept and care for donated items. Discover what it’s like to work behind the scenes as a museum curator, from examining treasures to preparing them for display. After completing the process, kids will earn their Official Junior Museum Coordinator Certificate!

𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲—𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.

This library-sponsored program will occur on the 4th Friday of each month at a different location around the City of Fort Lupton.
