You do not need to be an intermediate or advanced crocheter, but it will be helpful to be familiar with the single crochet and slip stitch before coming to the workshop. This little scarecrow is an amigurumi figure, a small piece tightly crocheted and stuffed, with repetitive stitches in a half a dozen colors. 

This workshop costs $5 for teens, $15 for adults, or is free for Rivertown members. All materials are included.

Please note: It is not likely that you will be able to finish your scarecrow during the two-hour workshop period. You are welcome to take yarn and the crochet hook(s) home with you to finish and return the hook whenever is convenient for you. We also have our monthly Sit & Stitch two days after the workshop on Thursday, September 17, from 6-8pm. This would be a great opportunity to come in and work on your piece some more!
