- **Event Description**: Please join us for a presentation entitled “The Battle of Oriskany: Recollection & Remembrance,” covering the history of the local Revolutionary War battle, its lasting legacy, and the significance of the upcoming 250th commemoration in 2027. 

The program will be presented by Alexis Werchowski Albright, historian for the Village of Oriskany. Albright has served as curator of the Oriskany Museum since 2018. She holds degrees in Liberal Arts and History from Mohawk Valley Community College and Clarkson University, respectively, specializing in genealogy and nineteenth century American history. Prior to returning home to Oriskany, she served as editor for the Tennessee Valley Genealogical Society in Huntsville, AL. 

Join us for a brief Friends of Schoharie Crossing meeting followed by a wonderful presentation.
Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
