This year, with the government open, we’ll be able to cruise Beach Drive in its entirety, rather than the modified route we had to take last year.

🏁 The Route

We’ll meet at Village Hardware, just south of Old Town Alexandria, and begin the drive up Fort Hunt Road and through Old Town.

From there, we’ll head to Gravely Point, where we’ll take a short break to watch the airplanes take off and land and get some photos of the cars.

Next, we’ll make our way into Rock Creek Park and cruise the full length of Beach Drive, enjoying the fall foliage along the way. We’ll make another stop at Picnic Grove 6 for another photo opportunity before continuing on.

Finally, we’ll head to Parkway Deli & Restaurant in Silver Spring for lunch and to wrap up the cruise.
