Our 2nd annual Operation Ornament is taking place December 19-21, 2025 at The Laramar Ballroom in Fort Dodge Iowa.
Friday December 19: 12-7pm
Saturday December 20: 10am-5pm
ADULTS ONLY cocktail and snack hour: 7pm-10pm
Sunday December 21: 10am-6pm
This is an authentic Christmas experience that is open to the public and is a free will donation. Families will have the opportunity to walk through over 40 decorated trees from local businesses and individuals, take photos with Santa, make a few arts and crafts, enjoy a fun filled hot coco bar, fill up on some homemade holiday desserts, and make a homemade Christmas bulb in honor of a military hero no longer with us.
The theme this year is The Polar Express, we encourage kids to wear their pjs (or dress to the nines), bring Santa a letter to take back the the North Pole, and come be a part of this worthy cause.
100% of every donation raised will go back to Swingin’ Fore Soldiers supporting military families across Iowa.
