This workshop bridges the grounded, intuitive presence of horses with the deeply relaxing vibrations of a sound bath. Designed specifically for the LGBTQ+ community, this is a therapeutic space to exhale, slow down, and connect—both with yourself and our gentle equine friends. No previous horse experience or musical background is required. This is a non-riding event held entirely on the ground. What to ExpectA Soft Landing: We will open with a brief, welcoming community circle to ground into the space together.Meeting the Herd: Meet the horses in a safe, structured, and low-pressure environment. You will learn to observe their body language and practice mindful, present-moment connection with them. The Sacred Sound Bath: Transition into a state of deep rest. While surrounded by the peaceful ranch environment, you will lay down (or sit comfortably) as the healing frequencies of crystal singing bowls and therapeutic instruments wash over you.Gentle Integration: We will close with a light, optional sharing circle and grounding refreshments to help you transition smoothly into the rest of your evening.ABOUT YOUR HOSTS:Christi Piker, MA, LPC (she/her) is a mindfulness-based psychotherapist practicing in Fort Collins who is deeply passionate about providing affirming care within her queer community.
