Our Progressives Lessons continue!
We had so much fun last week with both lessons.
The Swing YouTube Practica was a huge success and we had such a great turnout for the Introduction to Swing Lesson.
It is not too late to join the Introduction to Swing Lesson and the Swing YouTube Practica class is a drop in class for the all of December.
What is a "YouTube Practica" you ask? The idea is that everyone who will be participating in the class researches on YouTube a swing dance video of something they would like to learn and or something they would like to share with others. As folks find YouTube videos they post them to the event as a comment and before the Practica as a group we decide what we would like to work on.
For the first week of the YouTube Practica Doug and Gale have volunteered to facilitate learning the Frankie Sixes.
For this week the plan is to work on sugar pushes and time permitting review and learn the rest of the Frankie Sixes moves.

This series will start on December 3rd and will run until December 17th. We will have an Introduction to Lindy class from 6:00 to 7:00 and our YouTube Practica from 7:00 to 8:00.
Beginners are welcome for both classes and no partner is ever needed. Note: If you are a true beginner and would like to learn the Frankie Sixes please join us in the beginner class from 6-7.
If you are on the fence jump off that fence and help us with our primary mission which is to build a dance community that is focused on sharing the joy and benefits of dance here in Northern Colorado.
Also, please, please, please mention us to your friends. We have found that word of mouth is the best way to get the message out that Fort Collins is a swinging town.
Because this is a three-week series, we will be charging $30 for one progressive series. That averages out to about $10 a class!
If you have bought tickets to our New Years Eve Ball the Introduction to Swing/Lindy Class will be half price.
We take Venmo (@NoCo-SwingDance ) or cash or check on or before the first night of the class. Please arrive early so we can get you checked in. Also, if you know you will be attending, please email us so we can get a head count at

6pm - Introduction to Swing/Lindy with Kali and Ron.
This class introduces new swing dancers to the exciting world of swing dancing. We will start with very basic 6-count footwork and introduce a number of moves to get you dancing right away. This is a very beginner friendly class and no partner is needed.
7pm - YouTube Practica facilitated by Doug and Gale.

Feel free to park in the back lot/bank parking - after 6pm is FREE.
We ask that you wear light color sole shoes (or dance in socks) to protect this historic floor.
Please do not show if you are feeling ill since this is a social and partner dance. We do not require that you are vaccinated but it is highly recommended.
Please remember that NoCo Swing Dance is a very beginner friendly community, and we love new dancers.
No partner is ever needed.
