Looking for a diverse and exciting count circle? Join us for the annual Loveland Christmas Bird Count!

The Loveland count circle offers an incredible variety of habitats, making it one of the most birdy counts in the area. You could be counting birds in the lower foothills, the wide Great Plains, along the river corridor, or surveying the many lakes and reservoirs. This unique combination provides fantastic birding opportunities!

Birding Highlights often include: A great variety of gulls, impressive raptors, abundant waterfowl, and occasionally, a small mountain owl!
