Join the R.F. Sink Library MakerSpace for a variety of fun and engaging activities, this time focused on creating your very own custom snow globes! This is the perfect place to explore and craft a miniature winter world.
Each session will feature creative projects inspired by the season, using a mix of arts, crafts, and hands-on STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math) principles. Learn how to seal jars, choose the right figurines and glitter, and even understand the simple science behind a perfectly cloudy, slow-falling snow effect.
What to Expect:
Arts & Crafts: Design a personalized scene inside your globe using small figures, miniatures, and creative materials.
STREAM Integration: Explore concepts like liquid density and water displacement to ensure your snow globe works beautifully.
Seasonal Keepsake: Walk away with a beautiful, handmade snow globe to decorate your home or give as a thoughtful, personalized gift.
