The May 15th Laps for Charity is open to all Mustang owners!

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in pace laps around the 1.25-mile oval track. In addition to pace laps on the oval, all participants may also purchase an upgrade to participate in a 30-minute session on the ¼ mile drag strip before the regularly scheduled WOW program from 5:15 to 5:45 PM that evening. Those not participating at the drag strip will get premium trackside parking and suite access to enjoy an evening of racing on the drag strip. Food and drinks may be purchased at Top Fuel Concessions stand and taken to the suite. **Suite will be opened with 30+ tickets sold.**

All proceeds will be donated to the Raceway Gives Foundation (racewaygives.org/our-mission)

Schedule:

3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Arrive at 700 Raceway Blvd, show your tickets at the main gate, then proceed to the infield. All participants must sign the insurance waiver. If you also wish to participate in drag racing, you can turn in tech cards here and have your car inspected.

4:30 p.m. – Pace laps around the oval and road course. Will end the final lap at the start-finish line for a photo op, then all cars may leave or proceed to the drag strip. You will be escorted over to the drag strip and up the return road. Those who upgraded to drag race will be directed up the return road and stage in front of the grandstands. Those wishing to spectate will be directed to break off and go to the premium trackside parking area located behind the Nitro 1 grandstand.

5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. – Drag strip session. Exclusive session for Laps for Charity participants. You may get as many runs as you can in this period. Drivers of any cars faster than 13.99 in the ¼ mile will be required to wear a Snell 2015 or newer helmet. All participants must wear long pants. Passengers allowed in cars slower than 14 seconds. Priority session will run hot lap style strictly off the return road. If you wish to make another pass, please return directly to the return road where you were staged up and we will keep running you in hot lap order.

6 PM on – you are welcome to continue to enjoy Wide Open Wednesday. If you purchased drag racing upgrade, you may go to the staging lanes and continue to run the regular program.

Laps for Charity - $20/car. No additional charge for a passenger.
Drag Strip Upgrade - $20/car.
