This meeting will be presenting and electing officers for the 2026 year
Learn about your equine and care -
This is not a lesson program - it is an equine learning and leadership
Where one meets other youth that share the love of equine - learn about all different disciplines- care- health -equipment
Learn from area farriers- equine knowledgeable adults - veterinary people- nutrition specialists and many more
Do not have to live in Monroe County to join - if there is not an equine program in your county - come join us
Can join from 3rd - 12th grade youth
Don’t have to own a horse - youth can be part the Horseman’s without Equine division (all meet at the same time - just know this portion will not be able to ride others horses- but will learn about horses and how to care for them )
We welcome youth that have their horses at home or from area training barns -
We welcome volunteers adults that would want to share your knowledge in demonstrations / presentations
The club meets on Tuesday evening, but may meet on occasional Saturday for demonstration/clinics
Once the Monroe County Arena is completed that will be the main place for the meeting
And alternative will be the Extension office
Those with horses will have the opportunity to compete at the State 4-h show in Perry
Those that don’t have the opportunity to enter the drawing or painting or public speaking events during the state show
And we will have events to participate in as the year continues
