Starting in Grantown-on-Spey and finishing in Forres, this point-to-point trail follows the old Highland Railway line, meaning beautifully runnable miles, blue skies, and that satisfyingly sneaky RD-designed detour at the end.

You’ll climb steadily to the Dava Summit (1050ft) - enough to keep things spicy - before rolling all the way to sea level. Expect a perfect mix of woodland, moorland, farmland and those wide-open Highland views that make you forget you’re working hard.
