- **Event Description**: Why should kids have all the fun? join us for a look in some amazing rockpools!

Rockpooling if fun for all ages! We'll visit the beach at at low tide to see what we can find, any interesting creatures will be added to a temporary rockpool so we can watch them go about their business naturally. We will discuss their ecology and adaptations to the intertidal environment and discuss the different types of seaweed found in rockpools and their uses.

This event is for you if you're a beginner to marine biology, want to know more or just want to enjoy an afternoon by the beach.

The seaboard villages are well worth making a day of it, with pictish standing stones and places for lunch before we hit the beach.

We ask for donations for this event to help with our work, which goes towards education about and protection of the nature of the Highlands. Please give what you feel you can afford. We suggest a minimum donation of £5 per person to cover our costs or £10 per person to further support our work.
