- **Event Description**: To celebrate 100 years of Logie Steading, we’re opening the doors at Logie Timber Supplies for a day of demonstrations, making, food and timber culture.

Throughout the day there’ll be: 

-Woodworking demonstrations from Aaron Sterritt

- Outdoor cooking with Petromax

- A display of historic chainsaws from the Highland Folk Museum exploring how forestry tools have changed through the years.

-Traditional timber cutting demonstrations from the Logie Timber team
 
-There’ll be the chance to try the old two-man hand saw for yourself, with a £2 donation entry in aid of Cash for Kids. Fastest cut wins a prize on the day.

- Ged from Jedwood will also be running a hands-on green woodworking workshop, where participants will carve their own rustic wooden whisky tumblers using freshly felled timber and traditional hand tools. Places are limited and advance booking is required through our website:

Around the shop there’ll also be archive photography and displays from the history of Logie Timber and Timberfest through the years.
