✨ About the performers
Steve Byrne – Angus-born and raised, Steve has been steeped in traditional music since childhood. A founding member of Scots song giants Malinky, he’s also an acclaimed accompanist, folklorist and producer. Crowned Scots Singer of the Year in 2019, Steve is now Director of Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland.
Scott Gardiner – Originally from Forfar, Scott is one of Scotland’s leading traditional singers. He has performed at festivals across the country and overseas, represented Scotland at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in the USA, won the Bothy Ballad World Championship, and been nominated three times for Scots Singer of the Year.
