mappa editions is a small label based in southern slovakia. the scope of their interest involves various approaches to sound derived from phenomenologies of listening, related to the everyday acoustic landscapes, sound diaries, sound cartography, (bed)room experiments and to contemporary composition on a thin border between something and nothing. they are interested in the architecture of space, the physical body of the artist and the listener, always thinking about sound "within" and "out-there".

bolka (slovakia)
matúš kobolka, also known as bolka (sk), is an electroacoustic improviser, composer, and an artist whose work is connected to glitch culture. his musical practice has moved beyond free improvisation of electronic music, experimenting with comedy, "genre-bending" and repurposing popular music techniques. he uses a custom-made software written in supercollider in combination with naïve hardware solutions.

lénok (slovakia)
combining digital sound design with transformed vocal fragments, lénok creates soundscapes that can be both disturbing and liberating. instead of stereotypical contemplation, she creates other realities. a narrative sound idea that decays and questions the state of things. she currently continues her studies of sound at the conservatory of the hague at the institute of sonology.
in a addition to her solo work, she collaborates on choreographic, performative and participatory audiovisual projects with local and international artists. In her future projects, she focuses on the articulation, of figures, placed on the walls of social sound bodies. she seeks to visualize the frozen invisible, making it visible and audible.

dj urine (alias dj ruine), figure du turntablism expérimental, se distingue par une approche tactile unique. depuis la fin des années 90, il explore des territoires sonores inédits, créant un son acoustique et plastique finement ciselé dans la chair même du vinyle.
brocanteur de beats avant-gardistes, illusionniste et artificier sonore, ses performances sont de véritable voyage immersif. entre improvisation totale, séances de scratch démoniaque et sabordage prémédité, il plonge le public dans une expérience noise et polyrythmique transcendantale.
