Rising Sun Country Park 10K Trail Run

Get ready for an incredible trail running experience at the Rising Sun Country Parks in September 2026!

Located 5 miles North East of Newcastle city centre in the heart of North Tyneside, the 10K trail run offers an exhilarating challenge for runners of all levels – whether you’re prepping for a half marathon, full marathon or just looking for an adventure.

The 10K trail run weaves through the grasslands, woodlands, and nature reserve of the Country Park. Get ready to tackle some steep inclines, wet spots, and muddy stretches that will challenge your legs!

Canicross - This event is Canicross friendly, so our four legged friends can join the fun. We allow one controlled dog per runner.
