Guitarist/singer/songwriter John Shipe, joined by longtime musical compadre Mike Walker on piano, brings material from his early days with Walker in touring rock ensemble The Renegade Saints, as well as selections from his twelve (and soon to be 13) solo albums. Their years together have refined Shipe and Walker's chemistry to the point where they come off like a single instrument, bringing both a richness and an intimacy to their live performances.   

Over 25 years since “going solo,” Shipe has logged in a dozen albums and a million miles —  quietly appearing on Folk & Americana charts, gathering both independent & commercial airplay, and earning acclaim from the nooks and crannies of non-hipster music journalism. “If you’re a fan of Jason Isbell or John Prine,” writes Walter Price of Global Texan Chronicles, “add this to your together-forever playlist.” Shipe's body of work has been described as cinematic (even when acoustically scaled down), aggressively embracing any genre required to enhance the colorfully drawn characters in his songs.
