Oregon Wheelchair Hiking — though today we’re trading trails for something a little different and super fun!
Sunday, July 19, 2026 — we’re rolling over to Forest Grove for the Forest Grove Concours d’Elegance Car Show at the beautiful tree-shaded campus of Pacific University!
This is the longest-running Concours d’Elegance in the Pacific Northwest, with more than 300 stunning classic and modified cars on display. You’ll see gleaming vintage beauties, polished chrome, and some amazing modified rides all lined up under the oaks. There’ll be live music, great local food, a beer garden, and a wine pavilion — the perfect relaxed vibe for a sunny summer day.
We’ll meet up around noon and enjoy rolling through the show together at our own pace. The grassy campus has wide paths between the cars, and many areas are accessible for wheelchairs and power chairs (though some spots may have soft grass or slight slopes, so we’ll take it easy and help each other as always).

Important note: limited amount of free Admission is first come, first served on the day of the show — tickets will be available at the gate (or online ahead of time if you want to skip any lines).

Date: Sunday, July 19, 2026�Time: 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM (show runs 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
�Meeting Spot: Pacific University Campus — 2043 College Way, Forest Grove, OR 97116 (main event area — look for the Concours signs and our group near the central display area)�Terrain: Campus paths and grass between cars — mostly accessible for wheelchairs with some uneven grass areas. Plenty of shade from the trees!
Public Transportation Options (TriMet makes it possible!):

* Take the Paratransit Lift to the Pacific University campus in Forest Grove.

* Take the MAX Blue Line west to the Hillsboro area, then transfer to a TriMet Bus (such as Line 57) that drops off just a couple of blocks from the Pacific University campus in Forest Grove.
* From the bus stop, it’s a short, accessible roll to the event entrance. Use the TriMet trip planner for exact connections and times.
* Plenty of parking is available on or near campus (note: some lots fill up early with show cars and preferred parking, so arrive with time to spare or use the bus option).
Come join the crew! Whether you love classic cars, shiny paint jobs, or just good company and a fun community outing, this is going to be a great day. All abilities welcome — the more the merrier!
