Every year, Parkes Harness Racing Club races on 31 December. We conduct our race meeting at Parkes Showground. New Year's Eve at the TROTS is always big event of Parkes Harness Racing Club.
Date: 31 December 2025 (Wednesday)
Entry fee: $10 per person (Kids U12 are FREE).
Gate Opens: 5pm
Gate Entrance: at Mitchell street.
What to expect during the night?
- Full on harness racing event. This would be about 8 or 9 races. Every race is usually 30 minute apart.
- Entrance fee is $10. Children U12 is FREE.
- Children U12 gets free ice cream.
- Kiddie rides are FREE. Available rides for the night may include: Cha Cha, Dodgem Cards, Saucer Ride, and Bouncy.
- Food vendors are available for the night: On-site canteen, Spuddy Buddy, BBQ, Darcy Gage Ice Cream, Coffee Van.
- Fireworks display, approximately 1 hour after the last race (to make sure that all horses have left the Parkes Showground)
