WESTSIDE SALSA EXPERIENCE – FANIA NIGHT with DEL BARRIO
Get ready to hit the dance floor! The legendary Melbourne-based salsa band Del Barrio is bringing their electrifying energy to Littlefoot Bar, right in the heart of Footscray.
For over 30 years, Del Barrio has been igniting dance floors across the city with their authentic, hard-hitting salsa sound. Specialising in classic 1970s New York salsa, the band pays tribute to the golden era of Latin music that once filled the streets of the Bronx, Spanish Harlem, and beyond. Their repertoire draws from the iconic FANIA era, which defined a generation of Latin rhythm lovers.
Led by Gualberto Casas, a true ambassador of Latin music originally from Peru, Del Barrio is made up of 10 talented musicians committed to keeping the pulse of salsa alive in Melbourne.
In keeping with tradition, Del Barrio's intention is to bring our musical roots to Melbourne's salsa enthusiasts in the West. This time Littlefoot Bar will be the place where our community of salseros can enjoy a night of music that will have you grooving all night long.
By spreading the joy of Latin music, we aim tobring people together and celebrate our community's righ cultural diversity in Footscray.
