Marian University is excited to announce the Social Justice Committee's first event, Living Library, on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. in the Stayer Center, Room 205.
The first Living Library participant is Noah Reif (she/her/hers). Noah Reif (she/her/hers) has been the Community Development Educator in Fond du Lac County since early 2023. Noah primarily works with community nonprofits and local governments on developing organizational capacity and leadership to meet the needs of the community. Holding a B.M. in Music from St. Norbert College, Noah has spent almost a decade working for and providing educational support for nonprofit organizations. She has worked as a community organizer, fundraiser, and advocacy manager for several organizations and international charities before her time at UW-Extension. Noah lives in Waupun with her cat, Radish, spends time building community with LGBTQIA+ people from across the state, and obsessing over Wisconsin sports.
What is a Living Library?
Instead of checking out books, participants “check out” people—individuals who share personal stories, perspectives, or lived experiences. It’s an interactive experience designed to foster open conversation, respectful curiosity, and a deeper understanding of one another. Topics often include identity, faith, disability, mental health, and personal journeys of resilience. The goal is simple: to build empathy and community. Join us!
