If you park in the BMB lot you will need to be out by 9pm sharp. I plan to park on the other side of the river by Karen’s Bakery so I can stay out longer.

Parking fee inside the park: $10 cash or “free” with Poppy Pass. 

Meeting in the water at black miners bar under the Folsom Blvd. Car bridge right by the trail on the opposite side from the state park to put in at 6:00pm. 

People will be coming in from both sides, so 
We are meeting here. (See photo in event for the bridge we are meeting under.)

Bring anything that glows and let’s enjoy one of the longest days of the year. 

We will paddle into the jungle and around and enjoy the sunset and some good company! This will be a mellow and relaxing paddle! 

What to bring:
-Your paddleboard or kayak
-PFD/Life jacket – Required by law to have one on your vessel. If you’re not a confident paddler or swimmer, it’s highly recommended to wear it at all times. The current can be strong out here in the main channel. (Children must wear a life jacket!)
-plenty of water & bevy’s
-snacks or dinner
-water shoes 
-waterproof bag for your valuables
-hat & sunglasses 
-head lamp/glow sticks/lights for your board or kayak
-Dry clothes to change into
-sunscreen 
-Good vibes! ✌?

We’ll be spending our time paddling/floating, not hanging out on shore—so be prepared to be out on the water for the evening. 

Know your limits and paddle within your abilities. By joining this event, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of any guests or children you bring.
