Safety comes first whenever we step onto the water! 

This hands-on, FREE Water Safety Clinic is designed for paddlers aged 8 and up—from eager kids and family crews to adults looking to build confidence on the lake.  

Led by experienced water safety leaders on the calm, flat waters of Lake Natoma, this hour-long session covers essential skills every paddler should know: proper PFD and leash fit, board balance fundamentals, self-rescue techniques, and how to navigate changing water conditions safely. 

Whether you're brand new to water sports or simply want a brush-up on best practices before race weekend kicks off, it's the perfect, stress-free way to build your water IQ!  

Even though it's completely free to attend, registration is required—and every part of the PaddleSplash festival proudly supports NorCal SUP Groms, helping empower youth with water confidence and paddling skills!
