Promoted in partnership with the Folkestone Nepalese community.Programme details are below. There will be samba and Indian dance, and Chinese dance workshops for all ages + arts and crafts activities. Book online to win a free food voucher in our draw.Please email us on events@equatorfestival.com if tickets are sold out and we will try and add some more tickets.Travelling to the festival:By foot: If you are coming from Folkestone town centre please either walk down to Cheriton and the venue is right behind Cheriton Library on Baker Road. This road is closed for cars but open for attendees.By car: If you are travelling by car you would need to park on one of the side roads around Cheriton Library which are residential roads or on the opposite side roads as well.By train: The closest train station is Folkestone West and it is a 10 min walk from there to Cheriton Library. The venue is behind Cheriton Library on Baker Road.By bus: There are public buses that do go down Cheriton High Street from the town centre. Please check the schedule as it varies on Sundays and may be less frequent.If you would like to have a stall in one of our festivals please do email us. For stall space, or to sell and display arts, crafts, textiles and food please contact us directly, and we will send you a booking form.All donations are most welcome and would contribute towards performers' fees. Public toilets are available and are 2 minutes walk on Somerset Road. Less plastics and Zero wastage Policy - We are keen to reduce the use of plastics in festivals and you can help by bringing your own water flasks and cups. There will be a bar on site and wine, beer, cans of soft drinks, teas. coffees and food will be available to purchase. If you live nearby please walk, bicycle or take public transport rather than drive.
