S from Folkestone Community Life DrawingAbout this EventOverviewWe have a one-off paid or pay-what-you-can life drawing session on Wednesday 18th February lunchtime from 12-1 pm which will be a Valentines Day and Mad Hatter tea party themed life drawing session. All money's paid will be going to our clothed life model (and fellow life drawer!) Jessica S. who will be modelling for us for the session with some fun mad hatter tea party inspired props too!FYI Folkestone Community Life Drawing provides free weekly community life drawing sessions in Folkestone at digital:glassworks every Wednesday lunchtime 12-1 PM. We can keep the sessions free by taking it in turns to pose (fully clothed) but as we have a fully clothed life drawing model for this session - we will be charging a suggested £5 or pay what you can ticket option. For those unable to pay - you will of course still be able to take part but would ask for those that are able to pay to pay £5 or what you can to cover our life drawing model's fee for this one-off session. Thank you! There will be tea and biscuits before and at the end of the session and drawing materials provided - included in your ticket and to go with our Mad Hatter's tea party theme!Optional but encouraged...wear your favourite red jumper, heart patterned or favourite mad hat along to the drawing session too!ABOUT:Free community life drawing every Wednesday lunchtime in Folkestone from 12-1 PM at digital:glassworks in the Creative Quarter.Feel free to just turn up but where possible we are encouraging people to book their online free ticket here so we have a rough idea of numbers and how many chairs etc. to set up!FYI we can keep these sessions completely free as Creative Quarter have kindly provided us a space at digital:glassworks, also by bringing along our own art materials, keeping the sessions untutored and taking it in turns to strike a pose in place of a traditional life drawing model by holding short poses ourselves of 2/3/5 minutes long.ART MATERIALS:There will be some first come, first serve art materials provided for those that need them or are totally new to drawing but if you are able to - please do bring your own.A4 paper, pencils, a rubber and sharpener will be fine to start and feel free to bring some larger A3 paper, charcoal and fixative spray if you have some too. Please like, share, spread the word and hopefully see some of you there on your lunch breaks for a bit of weekly lunchtime life drawing. We'll be drawing at the foyer space inside the digital:glassworks building (easily located on Google maps) in the Creative Quarter - see you there!ACCESSIBILITY:The space is fully accessible with an accessible entrance located on Mill Bay (you will need to press the buzzer to be let in)CONTACT:Any issues please email: folkestonecommunitylifedrawing@gmail.comor DM us on our Instagram! instagram.com/folkestonecommunitylifedrawing - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/folkestone/valentines-and-mad-hatter-tea-party-themed-life-drawing-session/100001982936565647 - **Event Categories**: art, fine-arts, drawing-painting, parties, valentines-day, entertainment, workshops - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 6.13, currency: GBP ## Event venue details - **city**: Folkestone - **state**: EN - **country**: United Kingdom - **location**: Digital:Glassworks - **lat**: 51.08137869999999 - **long**: 1.1826065 - **full address**: Digital:Glassworks, Mill Bay, Folkestone, United Kingdom ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Valentines & Mad Hatter Tea Party Themed Life Drawing Session - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events5/banners/0b0a90b427fb70141029d87757016ab9842c22ac6ed23259f356c82684f2385b-rimg-w1200-h1500-dce5e6d8-gmir.jpg?v=1770936356 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Valentines & Mad Hatter Tea Party Themed Life Drawing Session being held? - **A:** Valentines & Mad Hatter Tea Party Themed Life Drawing Session takes place on Wed, 18 Feb, 2026 at 12:00 pm to Wed, 18 Feb, 2026 at 01:00 pm at Digital:Glassworks, Mill Bay, Folkestone, United Kingdom. - **Q**: Who is organizing Valentines & Mad Hatter Tea Party Themed Life Drawing Session? - **A:** Valentines & Mad Hatter Tea Party Themed Life Drawing Session is organized by Folkestone Community Life Drawing. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
