- **Event Description**: Join us at Folkestone Library for a free author talk with William Shaw, who will be talking about The Red Shore, the first book in his new crime fiction series. 

The Sun calls him ‘a modern crime master', and The Times says: ‘William Shaw is a superb, flowing writer... perhaps England’s most adept at using dialogue to propel his always intelligent stories.’

He writes the DS Alex Cupidi series set in Kent, the Eden Driscoll series set in Teignmouth, Devon, where he grew up, and the Breen & Tozer series set in 1960s London (all  of which you can borrow for free with your library card).

This is a relaxed, welcoming event for anyone who enjoys reading, writing and books.

This event is free, and open to all ages, though adults may find it more suitable.
