Free to attend and free transportation to the island (Please RSVP)! Bottled water will be provided, but please bring your own sunscreen.
***As of September 12th, the Sweet Library is at full capacity. There is a waiting list in case of cancellations.
Spend a day at the beach with the Collier County Sheriff's Office Marine Bureau for their 10th Annual Keewaydin Island Beach Clean Up and do some good for the community! The public is invited to help pick up trash on Keewaydin Island, a barrier island located between Naples and Marco Island.
Transportation to the island will be provided by the Sweet Liberty Catamaran Sailing & Boat Tours and the Calusa Spirit. Sweet Liberty will leave the Naples City Dock and the Calusa Spirit will depart from Pelican Bend Restaurant on Isles of Capri. Both vessels will depart at approximately 9am and return from the island around 12pm. Please arrive at the boat by at least 8:45am for boarding. Seats are limited to 36 aboard each vessel, so please reserve your spot.
If you plan on attending this event in your own boat, you will not need to meet up with the group since you are providing your own
transportation to the island. The Marine Bureau asks that you bring your own plastic bag(s) to put the trash in. If you bag the trash and leave it at the high water mark, the Marine units will pick it up.
Please contact the Marine Bureau for any further questions or
