Mindfulness is an inherent quality that we all possess. Paying attention without judgment is a skill that can be learned and practiced so that we can better care for ourselves. Through the practice of mindfulness, individuals can meet one’s life as it really is with resilience.
Cultivate the tools to better manage stress, pain, illness, and the challenges of everyday life and increase ease and well-being.
Mindfulness meditation is an evidence-based practice which has shown benefits in:
• the reduction of symptoms of anxiety and depression
• aiding in pain management
• improving cognitive function and memory
• and developing better emotional regulation skills
Join Lisa Rigau MS, BSN, RN, DipACLM, Certified Mindfulness Teacher, Owner of Healthy Lifestyle Management, for a 60-minute, guided, mindfulness meditation class including education and discussion on Monday March 25th, at 6:30 PM.
No experience necessary.
Lisa is a Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher through Brown University’s School of Professional Studies and The Mindfulness Center at the School of Public Health.
