Eugene Community Ecstatic Dance is a weekly project of therapists and other community organizers to enhance access to movement, self-expression, and forming community as an alternative to isolation. It began 5 years ago in Eugene, Oregon in the Covid era for community growth in difficult times. We are dedicated to inclusion by allowing access to all who want to come. We make it a safe, optional space with music and an opening circle to create guidelines of mutual support and individual autonomy. All funds are donated back to the community after paying costs.

Hosting is Mike Meyer, “Best DJ” for Eugene Weekly polls, 45 years Public Radio DJ (Hearts and Bones, Island Earth Radio), concert producer (Turning Tides Music), workshop leader, college instructor.

Join us on New Years Day, January 1 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM for an inaugural Florence Community Ecstatic Dance! All ages are welcome!
