Handle with Care Regional Trainings - Pee Dee

Join us as we welcome Andrea Darr, national Handle With Care expert, to share the history, lessons learned, and guidance for counties launching or expanding Handle With Care.

💡 Afternoon sessions will also include Mandatory Reporter Training and a discussion on Minimal Fact Finding led by the Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center.

This regional training will include information for Chesterfield, Clarendon, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Georgetown, Horry, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Sumter and Williamsburg Counties.

Attendees should include representatives from law enforcement and other first responders; school districts; and community-based mental and behavioral health service providers.

This is a free training made possible through a grant award from the SC Department of Social Services.
