- **Event Description**: The Fiddle Orchestra of Western Massachusetts is an amateur community orchestra made up mostly of fiddle players but also players of other instruments. The orchestra gives musicians the opportunity to play together as amateurs under the guidance of professional musicians in order to improve our skills, more deeply enjoy our hobby, nourish camaraderie, and share our enjoyment of music with the community. The Orchestra is a member-run non-profit managed by co-founder Becky Shannon.

This season musical director Annika Amstutz is joined by local musician Van Kaynor and together they crafted an exciting season of new and familiar music for members to learn and explore.  Join the Fiddle Orchestra of Western Massachusetts for an afternoon of traditional and contemporary fiddle tunes as we celebrate the power of music to foster friendships and connections.
