Fall Fungi Foray

Feel the shift in season as we hike through the woods. Learn about the fruits of the forest floor as we walk and talk fungi. Appreciate about the mysterious world of fungi and their role in healthy ecosystems. Autumn in Alabama is prime mushroom time and we hope to spot a few species like oysters, turkey tail and Reishi.

Note: This isn’t an identification class. We are not experts, and we will not be consuming any mushrooms.
