# Event Details

- **Event Name**: October Meeting
- **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 21 Oct, 2025 at 06:15 pm
- **Event Description**: On Tuesday, October 21st, Mike Cavanaugh will host the award ceremony honoring two of our long-time friends: Greg Kilpatrick and Angelo Zollo. The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award, named in honor of Orville and Wilbur Wright, is awarded to a pilot who has accrued 50 years of aviation experience since their first solo flight. Unfortunately, both Wilbur and Orville are otherwise occupied that evening, so Mike will be granting the awards in their place. Greg and Angelo have been urged to tell some of their best stories from their flight experiences, so be prepared for some fascinating “hangar flying.”

As always, dinner will be served at 6:15 in the Lacy Griffin aviation center. The suggested donation for the meal is $5.00–as a certain blinking hat will remind you!

If no parking space is available in front of the building, we have free use of Lot B just north of our meeting place, in the viewing area down the road, or in the small lot catty-cornered to the Lacy Griffin center.
